Release 2.3a with Explore and Build

We've recently released version 2.3a of Matrix for Business with enhancements to overall views, roles administration and data presentation.  We're most proud of the new Explore functionality which allows you to look into any part of your database -- SQL Server Management Studio style. With the new Build function, you now have the ability to quickly customize your dataset by adding and removing columns, apply custom SQL queries, and create a fully sortable and filterable view with your real-time data.

Explore & Build is being released to current subscribers as a beta, so we're still receiving feed back on how to make it better. For more detailed information, download the Explore & Build guide here.

Here's a overview of the release:

Explore & Build NEW!
With the new Explore and Build feature, you can shine a light on any part of your database. Matrix for Business now gives you the ability to drill down into and explore any data table. Quickly and easily build custom data views with the five-step wizard.

Improved Views
Three new Line Sales Code dashboards. Quickly view sales and bookings data by customer / location, company and compare against historical data and trends. Compare sales periods side-by-side, and as always, drill-down for even greater detail.

Enhanced Admin
Now it’s even easier to manage users and permissions in a completely rethought console. Users can be assigned access at very granular levels of detail, allowing you to share only what they need to know.

Better Data
We’ve improved a number of views for the Analysis and Data levels to help you track costs, inventory and orders.
